So you all know the chat was cancelled for yesterday and rescheduled for tonight, yes? (I just got home after three days in NYC without internet and found all this out!) I'm hanging out in the chatroom now, waiting!

I actually bought a second copy of Twilight today because I wanted to take it to New York with me, to read on the plane and whatnot, and I loaned my copy to my mom and forgot to get it back from her... so instead of drive all the way to my parents' house today, I just got myself the new paperback with Rob and Kristen on the front while I was out and about today LOL. I kinda wanted it anyway... the new cover is hot!!

What a nostalgia trip! I haven't watched TRL regularly since like 2001 or 2002, but I had so much fun watching this tonight. Brings back memories! Of course, Bsb was the highlight - I loved that they sang IWITW the classic way! The only thing that could have made that performance better was if Kevin had walked out for his solo.

Omg, I have goosebumps!!! So exciting!!! This totally made my night. I downloaded the super HD huge version from Mugglenet, and it was amazing! I'm really excited to see it on the big screen before Twilight too!!

Who loved ER last night? EEEE! My mom and I kept going "aww!" every time another old cast member appeared. We both teared up as soon as Anthony Edwards' face appeared... and then it was like, "Aww, Dr. Weaver!" "Aww, Jerry!!" "Romano!!!" I'm so excited they managed to get a few oldies on... and hopefully more will make their cameos before the season is over. So glad they're doing justice to the end of a fifteen-year run.

I definitely will!
Yeah, this has been planned since like April, so that's probably the last time I talked about it. It was originally supposed to be Equus AND the 6th Harry Potter movie, but since the movie's been pushed back, it's just Equus. I'm still really excited though! ;D

I had an ER Season 1 marathon today, on my day off. I am slowly working my way through the first five seasons, which I have on DVD, and when I get to Season 5, then I'm going to get Season 6, and so on, until I'm caught up on DVDs. The old episodes are soooo much better than the ones on TV now, it's refreshing.

^ LOL very true. I think writing was easier for me back when I lived at home and had dial-up, because I wasn't always connected to the internet. So I could just write without chatting or checking forums in between sentences LOL; it made me much more productive.
Nowadays when I want to be really focused and not let myself get distracted, I shut down all the messengers and hide the blue E from my quick launch bar so I can't click it so easily. That keeps me offline unless I need to be.

He doesn't support late-term abortion. He supports the states being able to ban late-term abortions. But yeah, even if his views were more extreme, there's not much he could do if he wants to keep the peace with the conservatives. Much like how the pro-lifers haven't yet been able to overturn Roe v. Wade.

He won't affect abortion in any way. Abortion is already legal here, and Obama supports states restricting late-term abortions. His views aren't at all extreme; he's just pro-choice, as pretty much all Democrats are. I am definitely pro-life, personally, but since Bush was also pro-life and didn't try to make abortion illegal during his eight years, it wasn't a big enough issue to swing my vote. They would have to overturn a major court decision to make it illegal here.
