So I'm almost through my Season 2 DVD, and for the people who are familiar with the old episodes, you know who an underappreciated character is? Shep! Remember Shep, Carol's firefighter/paramedic boyfriend for most of that season, played by Ron Eldard? I love Shep! If not for Doug, I would have wanted Carol and Shep to stay together.
Btw, I heard George Clooney IS going to make an appearance in the final season! Eriq LaSalle too! Squee!

When I was in New York, we went to NBC Studios to the NBC store, which is amazing, and I got a new pair of ER scrub pants and an ER pen that looks like a syringe! So cool! I'm easily pleased LOL.

I'm still watching old ER episodes... I hardly ever watch live TV these days; I just keep watching ER LOL. I'm almost done with Season 2 now. Which reminds me... I had a topic for the ER thread that basically me and one other person read LOL.

A friend lent me the OC so I've been watching the third season lately. Yay OC! I have all the DVDs and could basically the series over and over and not get sick of it LOL.

I wanna see the movie again, but I won't be able to get anyone to go with me again. I'm totally gonna download a bootleg version as soon as I can find one, to tide me over until the DVD LOL. I've only done that with two other movies... Prisoner of Azkaban and Team America. I think it's necessary for this one. I'll let you know when I find one.

Hehe, I love the avy too... thanks! And yeah, I think it's cool how he's totally blown up with Twilight. Shows how good of a casting choice he was for Cedric... he does the charming, tragic hottie quite well!

I know!! And Nick took off his shirt! LMAO Watch this video in high-quality: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=h3t8Fti67lg You see Kevin singing SOMH with the guys, and Kevin pulls up Nick's shirt, and you see his hot abs!! I'm still waiting for a video that captures the moment when Kevin walked out onstage... I hope one emerges!! There's another one where Nick actually takes off his wifebeater and tosses it; it's not great quality, but yeah, he looks hot!!

I saw it last night, and I loved it too! I don't think they left too much out. It's like Harry Potter or any other movie based on a book... they just can't get everything in, but they got the gist of it, and there were a lot of parts that were straight out of the book or even better. I thought the James/Victoria/Laurent storyline was handled a lot better in the movie than the book; it was foreshadowed more, so it didn't seem so random LOL. On the other hand, there were definitely parts, mostly the more romantic parts, that were better in the book when I was picturing them in my head. Mainly the meadow scene. Sparkly Edward on screen was nowhere near as impressive as he was in my head LOL.

To follow-up on my trip, I also just have to say this: we know how hardcore and crazy and weird Bsb fans are, right? Well, after going on this fan trip, I'm not sure Bsb fans compare to the freak show that are truly hardcore Harry Potter fans! LMAO I consider myself a hardcore Bsb fan. I thought I was a pretty hardcore HP fan, but from now on, I think I'm going to use the word "dedicated" instead, because I am not hardcore compared to these people who were on the tour with me.
There was this one guy who we sat at the same table with for dinner before the show, who my sister and I referred to as "Creepy McCreeper" for the rest of the trip. He was this fat, balding guy, probably in his early 50s, from Brooklyn. He had already seen Equus AT LEAST once. He was telling us about how he had waited by the stage door for Dan afterwards, and how Dan didn't stop for autographs and just walked by him, and he showed us pics on his phone that he had gotten of Dan walking by. Dan was wearing a baseball cap, and McCreeper was going on and on about how Dan wears that cap everywhere now, how you can see it on him in every picture of him out and about in NY that's online. May I remind you that this is a middle-aged man who is searching for pics of 19-year-old Daniel Radcliffe online and stalking him outside the theater. Some of people chose to wait by the stage door after our show instead of taking the bus back, and we were like, "Oh you know he's going to be one of them," and sure enough, on the bus the next morning, he was showing people his new batch of Dan pictures on his camera phone. CREEPY!!!
Then, also at our dinner table, was this old English/Canadian lady, easily in her sixties, who had seen Equus in London and knew every little detail about Dan that she had read on Dan-Radcliffe.com. She was also a creeper. I understand that Harry Potter is for all ages, and I can also understand appreciating a young actor like Dan for his talent, but old people taking it to the point of obsession weirds me out!

I'm back from NYC! I saw Equus on Thursday night. It was about like I expected... weird, a little disturbing, but good!! In all honesty, it's not the kind of production I would have gone to see had it not starred a celebrity I like; I would have been at The Little Mermaid instead in a heartbeat LOL. But it was an interesting play, and Dan was BRILLIANT!!! Seriously, his performance was so good! He showed off talent way beyond anything we've seen in the HP movies so far. His character was a tough one to play, physically and emotionally, and he pulled it off amazingly. I am so excited for the more emotional stuff coming up in the HP movies because I'm confident he'll be able to portray it well. He has turned into quite a good actor! Richard Griffiths was also very good, and it was really fun to see them on stage together! Our seats were way off to one side, but pretty close to the stage... eighth row! They were great! It was cool to be that close to actors I've watched again and again in those five movies. The play itself, as I said, was weird, but it really was well done. It starts with Griffith's character, the psychiatrist, finding out about Dan's character blinding six horses, and then through the two characters' therapy sessions, we find out bits and pieces of the back story, until we understand WHY he did what he did. It was complex, but very interesting. I have to admit, there were a few moments where I sort of smirked and thought, "Omg, I can't believe I'm watching 'Harry Potter' do this," but the much-hyped nudity and everything else made sense in the context of the play, and it wasn't too awkward. All in all, I have a new appreciation for Dan as an actor.

So who's seen the movie already? I'm hopefully seeing it tomorrow! I just got back from NYC, which is the only reason I haven't seen it yet. In the meantime, I'm reading the first book again, and I'm in love with Edward Cullen all over again! LOL I'm gonna finally read Midnight Sun after this.
