I just read a whole book this weekend because it was so good that I couldn't put it down, lol. It's called "Last Light" by Terri Blackstock. It's absolutely AMAZING!!!
In this book, the power goes out, like, OUT out, I mean, cars stop, watches stop, everything stops. (except flashlights, because they just run on battery). Anyway, it's about this family - the Brannings - and how they deal with it and everything (and there's lots of drama and mystery involved). So yeah. It's a great book! I'm going to start on the second one in the series today, probably, lol.

I dunno if you'd wanna read it though, Kristy. Depends... because this is that book that's set in Alabama, haha.

I'm still reading the books in that series that I mentioned a few posts ago, and it still freaking rocks! I'm waiting for the fourth book to come out in May.

Dude! Terri Blackstock (the author of the series I mentioned) is a freaking awesome author! I'm reading another book of hers now called, "Never Again Goodbye," and it's about this guy who adopted a girl when he and his wife found out that they couldn't conceive. Anyway, the girl's name is Amy, (lmao) and it's set when she's seven-years old, and her biological mother comes around and wants to be part of her life, and it's just really good! I'm only like 50 pages into it, but it's really good so far!

I love books like that too. I just can't stand reading non fiction, unless it's something about history that I really enjoy.

Then you wouldn't like the book I'm writing now. It's totally non-fiction.

I'm slowly making my way through The Other Boleyn Girl... that's the adult book I'm reading. The kids book I'm about to start is The Water Horse, cause I might wanna read it to my class later in the year.

You know something, Julie? I think that's so cool that you take time out of your day to read children's books because you might want to read it to your class. You're a great teacher.

LOL I like kids books; they're quick reads. Also, you never want to read a book to your class that you haven't read yourself. But thanks.
