We read R&J last year and I swear, we watched like 5 different versions of it! (the Leo one included). ah, makes complete sense why YOU'D like MacBeth . I really hope I at least don't HATE it. If I just dislike it and don't hate it, then I'm good to go!

I read MacBeth in my Brit Lit class, which was pretty much my favorite class of high school, and towards the end of the year, we got to make t-shirts that we designed ourselves (those iron-on things you can print out) about one of the stories or poems we had read that year. We got extra credit if we wore it to school. I chose MacBeth for my shirt. I actually still have it! LOL Wow! That's kinda cool! I wish my school/teachers would let us do something like that, but alas, we just read and write what they tell us to *bored look* Can they make a class for school for Fan Fics? ;D

Probably why it was my favorite class. She was really funny and had some cool projects for us.

I've had teachers like that, but none of them were English teachers. It's nice when teachers are like that though, because it makes everything more interesting.

Have any of you guys tried audiobooks? I'm just curious if they're worth it. I really miss reading for pleasure (fanfic included) and I wonder if this would be a good solution. Do you get the same effect from hearing it as reading it? Anyone?

I've never tried an audiobook, but I know Bianca (who never comes on here anymore... grr, Bianca) loves them! She listens to them at work. I think they'd be cool... most people like being read to, and it's basically the same thing.

ooh... that's a good idea Shauna! I once borrowed an audiobook from the library of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". I mean, I loved reading the story, I just wanted to hear someone ELSE reading it that time aroud! I think if you can find what you're looking for, then an audiobook would be worth it. Good idea.

This whole "you and I posting at the same time" business just doesn't work! I don't read all of your posts that way! Anywho, yes, a plot could be good. We'll just have to see. I know I'll have an easier time than my brother did when he had to read it, because I understand things better in GENERAL when it comes to English. (funny how it's our own language, yet, a lot of people don't do very well in the subject )

Yeah, and let me know if that works for you! My school bus driver is coo-coo and so we have a really bouncy ride in which it's very difficult to read, so I might want to try that one of these days if I can.

I bought the New Nicholas Sparks book the other day, and I'm hooked on it! I haven't finished it, but I'm going to try to today. Sure, some parts seem kind of the same from his previous books, but, SOMEHOW it's different. It's called THE CHOICE.
