I know exactly what you mean, it's one of the things I appreciate a lot about living here . Also, the roundtrip ticket only cost me 33 dollars.

'Kay, I got one.
So yesterday I had a few people over at the house just screwing around, and my kid comes into the room, looks around, and just randomly yells out "FLATULENCE!!!"
I have no clue where he got that from. To my knowledge nobody has ever used that word in his presence before. It was hysterical.

I have a pet peeve. When people post stupid crap on facebook. This girl posted "You're stupid!" to no one in particular. She's always complaining about people starting drama. And idk if I should have but I replied, "cause this should really be on facebook " and now she's naturally pissed off at me. But really? I mean, that's so hypocritical. It's like, sorry, but you shouldn't post that crap on facebook if you don't want people to reply.

Pet peeve: That friend who always says they wanna hangout with you but always bail. -___- I have one of those! Litterally 4 times out of 5 this person asks me to do something he cancels on me last minute for a some really stupid reason, but doesn't actually tell me he's cancelling, he waits until I ask him about our plans and then gives reasons like "Oh I drank a little last night so i'm a bit hungover and can't watch a movie with you", but then he gets angry with me when I get upset that he's bailing...drives me nuts! Now whenever he asks I just tell him I already have plans, I got tired of turning down other stuff just to send up sitting alone because he has a headache or his grandmother is apparently changing nursing homes at 9pm on a Saturday.

Yeah!! I swear half my friends are like that. One in particular recently has become this way. She never used to bail. Her reasons are legit, she has homework or her car wasn't working, but it just gets annoying. She could have done her homework before and stuff.
I finally did give up on this other friend who never even replies to my texts. She was always like "Oh I got your text!" so why didn't you respond.....

This doesn't exactly fit the topic, but I didn't want to make a new thread just to share this. My niece warmed my heart recently when she asked if I had the Harry Potter DVDs because she wanted to watch them. My work is done. She's only six, but I made her promise to read the books when she's old enough. We'll be marathoning the movies soon =).

Nice!! I can't wait until my nephew is old enough for Harry Potter! For now, it's just fun reading Sorcerer's Stone to my class.
