I decided to talk to one of my managers at work about my schedule (cause I don't like it), and apparently I made a good decision because there's talk of me possibly getting a full time position. *crosses fingers*

Thanks! I don't think it will be right away, but my manager made it clear that it's something we will be discussing. It would probably end up being a floater position though, since I still want to work in the copy center.

Yesterday, I took work off from the restaurant because the office supply store wanted me to work because no one else could and it's always busy on Tuesdays. So I was scheduled to work 10-6. I ended up working 10am-11pm. A 13 hour shift with only one 15 minute break.
I was SOOO busy. And then at like 7pm my manager was helping me do something and he completely ruined this customer's sign. So for four hours, we were trying to recreate the sign so that we could laminate it.
4 hours spent on this thing, and we didn't charge the guy for anything cause we screwed his sign up. So we lost money on that one... ugh.
I'm glad it was my favorite manager though. He and I work really well together. And he's adorable, lol. He was sitting on the floor with his legs crossed, trying to figure out how we were going to fix it all. And then when we were leaving, he's like, "My wife's going to kill me for being out this late...." haha. Cause we left an hour later than scheduled.

So... strike in Spain today, I'm not even daring to go to class! This is probably going to be a "you should've been there" kind of day.

Darn... nothing very interesting to report! I stayed at home all day (except went out on my bike with my sister for a little while) and we live in a pretty quiet area, so I didn't see anything all that interesting. My other sister, though, ventured into the center of Barcelona to work (didn't want to strike) and tried to go to class, but there were no buses, no subways, or any form of transport (and she forgot her card for the bicycle renting called bicing, which was operating). She was 7 km away from her university (that's almost 5 miles if I'm calculating right) so she came back home somehow. Like I said, nothing very interesting.

Yesterday at work, I went on my lunch break and went over to Burger King. I got back to work and locked my keys in the car. So of course I had to call my mom and have her come unlock it for me. Thank the Lord for Moms!!

LMAO! Aww, I LOVED that episode! I dunno what was more epic, Rachel doing the Baby One More Time video shot for shot, or Artie and the football team doing Stronger (probably the latter - that's my favorite Britney song!). Loved it!
