I love Nikon! That's what my new camera is. It's so nice. I hate it that I always forget to bring my camera with me when I go places though.

It's funny, when I used to buy point and shoots I always bought Canon, but then I switched to Nikon when I bought my dSLR. Most of the people I knew who had dSLRs had Nikons and I liked their pics. It's hard to know when to take the camera and when not to... sometimes I take it and end up not using it at all (low light or too busy doing other things), sometimes I wish I had taken it. *shrug*

I just looked through my yearbook from sophomore year and I found this: "All of you made my first student teaching a very special experience. Thank you especially for being so welcoming and respectful! - Spenser" He was the student teacher in my English class that year, and I remember that I always felt weird calling him by his last name, but he never minded me calling him Spenser, haha. I think it was because I think I may have known him before that year, because he graduated from my school just like three or four years prior, and I think he was in the class above my brother. Not totally positive though. I'm surprised he wrote such a "professional" sounding note in my yearbook. We were far from professional LOL He and I became good buddies that year. I wish I could remember his last name so I could look him up on facebook or something.

Holy crap, lmfao.
I think I just found him on facebook. Not even kidding you, this was complete chance. My friend's daughter is friends with him. Strangest thing in the world. LOL

It's a two year cegep program (what you guys would call community college i guess?) in Commercial Photography that i'm applying to. Have to submit a portfolio and stuff.. We'll see i guess Havent been in school in like 6 years, and i'd still be working full time on top of doing this at night.

I'm slightly annoyed with myself for deciding on this title for this thread, because "You should've been there!" makes it sounds good... but the thread was intended for the highlights and lowlights of the day or week or moment or whatever.
Should I change it? LOL Any suggestions? Cause I don't want anyone to feel like they can only post happy things in this thread.

So I already tweeted about this, but it made my day so much that I had to post it here too: Today, my favorite manager at my new job (he's from England, btw), asked me to go to a different store location to get an item that we were out of. He gave me the directions, and I asked, "So what am I getting again?" And he said, "Oh nothing, you're just driving over there for the jolly!" hahahahahaha "for the jolly" I love that!! He's such a dork and I love him. And he reimbursed me for the gas. I only used $3.00 worth of gas, but he gave me 10 bucks for doing it for him. haha He's just so awesome.
