Does anyone read this fic? Am I the only person who doesn't like the way its going. I read the last chapter and was really upset that the writers went there after they said they weren't. Eh, I'll probably read the next chapter, but I don't think it will be the same after that last chapter. lol I hate when that happens.

You know, that story was recommended to me, and I checked it out, and I couldn't really get into it. I'm picky about romance though. So yeah, I have no idea what's going on in it now; I didn't get too far with it.

Oreos is one of my favorites, but you're right it's starting to upset me. I know there has to be some drama, but ehhh. The Justin thing was waaaay to predictable and unrealistic at the same time. Hopefully, it will turn around, because I absolutely love the way it is written.

I was the same Julie, but I gave it chance and liked it. Now I'm starting to hate it. lol

I first started reading it a couple years ago, but couldn't get past the first chapter or so. I tried again recently and love it up until the last chapter. I think Oreos and Broken/BMS are really the only stories that I actually can see the main woman as a real person. I think that is a problem with a lot of fan fics out there, the lead female is either perfect or completely the opposite.

Aww, thanks, Erin! I've tried to do that anyway, make the main woman seem like a real person. It's hard to do LOL. Have you ever read Cover Me With Dreams? The female lead in that story, Ciara, is another good one - it's an all-around great romance. But yeah, it's hard to relate to a female lead who is perfect, and it also gets annoying when it's obvious that the author is trying too hard to make them NOT perfect, if that makes any sense.

No it makes sense. I read it awhile ago, so I really don't remember much. I do remember the ending though, it made me cry. I should re-read it.

The last chapter really kinda made me angry to be honest. I was annoyed with the Justin thing because of how predictable it was (I actually for the first time ever reading oreos was tempted to skim through rather than really read). I know they're eventually going to make everything turn around for the best but how long is that going to take? It's frustrating to start to get bored with a fic I've been reading for years.

When I first started reading Oreos, like 5 years ago, I was almost obsessed with it. I thought it was great and I've always said it was my favourite BSB fanfic because it is very well written. But lately it's just too much drama. It's the same story every time "nick is a jerk, rachel is a bitch, they have sex, everything is fine, then nick is a jerk, rachel is a bitch and so on" and Rachel, who was like a real person to me has become so annoying I don't want to read it anymore.
NO ONE could put up with such a drama queen! At first she was funny and cute but now she is just spoiled! I didn't read the last chaprter yet and I don't feel like reading it...

I don't think there is anything that can save this fic, really.

I'm starting to feel the same way. A month or so ago I started re-reading it. Tt made me realize how much it has changed... and for the worse. I used to love Rachel, but now she's sad and pathetic. Even James is annoying to me now.

I'm gonna have to go with Julie here as well. I'm pretty picky when it comes to romance, and I had to read it one time for an awards I was judging and I didn't get past the first page :-( I've heard a lot about it though. I know the story has been going on for awhile, it's interesting to me to see so many readers upset with whatever has happened in this latest chapter. It's funny because as anyone who writes knows, you can't make everyone happy and there's always gonna be one or two who don't like what you've done, but it looks like there's more than one or two here which really makes me wonder. A question to those who read because I'm truly curious, do you feel they're grasping at straws to keep the story going?
