And Amy, now that it's over, you need to go back and catch up on it from the beginning!! It'll seem like a whole new show! Fifteen seasons to watch LOL. I think TNT still shows reruns of it in the morning... I'll see if I can find out where they are in the lineup; they always show them in order and cycle through.
Okay, I checked TNT's website, and they are actually on Season 1 right now. So you'd have to wait quite awhile see the pilot (although maybe it's online somewhere), but if you start recording it at 10 a.m. every morning, you can at least start partway through Season 1!

I know! I got all excited when he said "Are you coming, Dr. Greene?" I thought that was just awesome! oooh... you're right! That's a great idea, Julie. Thank you! *puts that on to-do list*

Classic ER moment...
I'm on the second-to-last episode of Season 5, which is a real tearjerker. Four kids get into a horrible car accident on their way to the prom, a brother and sister and their dates. The sister has a spinal cord injury and might be paralyzed below the waist. The brother has third degree burns over most of his body and is probably going to die. Their parents are out of town and have to drive in from Milwaukee.
Meanwhile, Jerry at the desk has this stuffed gorilla that dances to the Macarena. You see it go off a couple of times throughout the episode, and someone always tells him how stupid it is or to shut it off.
So at the end of the episode, the kids' parents finally get to the hospital, and Mark is in the middle of telling them that their daughter might be paralyzed and that their son is most likely going to die, and the mother bursts into these wracking sobs and slams her hands against the counter in despair, and it sets off the Macarena gorilla, who starts singing in the middle of this heart-wrenching scene. So I'm sitting there in tears, and then I start cracking up cause it's just sooo wrong! I love ER LMAO.

I think I might remember that one... lol. One of the few from long ago that I may have actually seen. That's so funny though!

One of the greatest moments in all of ER... the end of episode 21 of season 6, "Such Sweet Sorrow," when Carol goes to Seattle to be with Doug. I bawl every time! I watched it last night. I finished my Season 6 DVD today, and now I'm waiting for Season 7 to arrive! The Season 7 premiere is one of my favorite episodes.

More random thoughts from watching ER...
Anyone else find it weird that despite Carter's many, many years on that show, his character only had one really good relationship? He had all kinds of random flings with minor characters, but his only big relationship was with Abby in Season 9. Then he married Kem... blah!
I just think it's kind of odd. All the other main characters hooked up with each other, but Carter was never right with anybody. Even Abby... They were good together, but I was always glad Abby ended up with Luka. It's just weird.

You know, I never really noticed that, lol. That is strange though, now that you mention it!!

It's just weird, cause his character was such a nice guy, so likeable, but Abby was the only character he really had chemistry with. Before her, it seems like he had a different fling every season, and none of them lasted.

Didn't he have a relationship with Susan for awhile?
I thought that Abby and Carter should've stayed together! haha

Yeah, he did in Season 8, but it only lasted a few episodes... they were kind of cute together, but didn't have the right chemistry. You could tell they were just better off as friends. That's what I mean though; it's just weird that he was never really right with anybody, except Abby. And even that relationship was full of drama, but any relationship with Abby was LOL.
