Simon! That's right! Yeah, when he was acting paranoid last night, I remembered that he'd been abused. No way! I never even noticed that... That's cool though. Oh yeah, especially how he keeps calling her! He's definitely going to make another appearance before the end of the show.

Okay, who loved ER tonight?! *squee* I was in heaven basically the entire episode. And I love, love, LOVE how they busted out the old "Doug and Carol" theme at the end.
I hope they work Ray into next week's episode, since it's supposedly Neela's last!

Neela's last episode is next week?! Man, that sucks. I like her, lol. I missed the first 20 minutes of ER this week, cause I was in the shower and all that, but I watched the rest of it and totally loved it. I was so excited that for once, each surgery went as planned, lol. (seems like at least ONE of the surgeries goes wrong each episode)

Yeah, but the last episode is April 2, so at this point, it doesn't really matter LOL. Only three episodes to go, so there will only be two without Neela.
I'm certainly glad they didn't screw Carter's surgery up! Good thing Benton was there LOL.

Oh yeah, definitely. I was getting annoyed with that doctor not wanting to follow the list, lol.

The end of last night's episode made me squee! The whole episode, I was going, "When's Ray going to appear... come on, she has to be going to Ray... come on, Ray needs to show up and stop her..." I was a little concerned because I hadn't heard anything about Shane West making one last appearance, but I'm sure they kept it a big secret. I was so happy with the ending! I didn't really know I was so much of a Reela shipper until they wrote him off the show, and then I was like, "Aww... but Neela and Ray belong together!" So cute.

Oh I know!! As soon as they showed that scene, I thought of you, Julie, lol. I wasn't expecting Abby to be on again though! That was a shocker. My mom and I always watch it together, and she "missed" those last two scenes. She actually did see them, but she was a little stoned again so she kept asking me what the last scenes were.

Oh yeah, Abby too! That was a nice little surprise! I was hoping for Luka to pop in as an added bonus, but no such luck. Hoping they'll all make cameos for the big finale though.

Julie! Did you see last night's ER?! I thought that was the best episode ever!! It was so adorable. The kid on bed rest got to go to the dance, and Archie helped the little girl overcome her fear, and all those scenes were adorable with the little baby (who's mom decided to give it up for adoption). I can't believe it's over next week. How sad is that going to be?

It was a very cute episode!!! This season has been really good, especially the second half. I have to commend the writers; they've done a great job at ending the show on a good note. I like how all the little storylines are ending happily... Banfield got her baby, Morris got his girl, and Neela and Ray are together! Whoo hoo! I can't believe next week is the last episode! I cried even before the preview for next week came on LOL. I am excited for THREE HOURS of ER next week though! There's an hour-long retrospective first, then the finale is two hours. Very fitting, cause the original pilot was also two hours. And it looks like EVERYONE is gonna be back again! I'm so excited, but it's gonna be so sad too!

I know! I wasn't expecting Archie to actually propose!! And Banfield and her husband look SO happy with the baby. ;D I just KNEW that something like the girl falling was going to happen right then though! I was talking to my mom and I said, "Something bad is going to happen, I can just tell." And then she fell! I can't wait to see the plot for the last episode! It's gonna be GOOD, I just know it. I'll have to remember not to be here in this thread next Thursday night so I don't get the spoilers from you because of our time difference. LOL

I won't say too much tonight, so as not to ruin it for Amy , but wow... great episode, perfect ending, I loved every minute of my three hours of ER tonight, but I'm so sad it's over! It's the end of an era... my Thursday nights will never be the same. LOL I'm in mourning now. But it really was a beautiful way to go out.

I agree, I think it was an awesome episode. I was hoping that the last scene was going to be more intimate and more of a tear-jerker, but I liked it nonetheless. That mom dying was scary though! I was like, "That is too much blood to be losing..." And those parents getting upset that Gates had called the cops, geez. That's what he's supposed to do, it's his job, lol. And the old lady... that one hit home hard. That's exactly what it was like when my grandma was in her last hours. I was glad that the lady went peacefully though. Anyway, Carter!! I LOVED that he had created that center! How cool was that?! And Sam and Tony holding hands at the end! I was like, "They were meant to be, Mom. I knew it." Totally sucks that the year I got into ER just happened to be the last season of it. Grr... sucks to see it go, but they ended it on a very good note. I approved.

I expected the ending to be a tearjerker (for the fans, at least) too, but I kind of like that it wasn't. I like that we were left feeling like the "show" would go on at County, even though the show show was over. And with a new generation, too! That was the best, Rachel Greene coming back as a future doctor! I LOVED that the last line was Carter referring to her as "Dr. Greene." That just wrapped up the series so well... because I think out of all the characters on the show, Carter and Mark Greene were the heart and soul of ER. It was never the same after Mark died, and it really wasn't the same after Carter left. So it just worked to sort of bring those two back, in some way. My favorite parts of the episode were the ones with the old cast members. But the other storylines were good, too, especially the pregnant woman and the elderly couple. So sad!
