I love Dostoyevski. Crime and Punishment and the Brothers Karamozov are probably two of my favorite books. To Kill A Mockingbird, Hamlet, The Power of One, Pillars of the Earth The Princess Bride, if you are a fan of the movie I really recommend the book its hilarious. sorry I don't have author names at the moment.

Yay, books! Here are my favorites, both past and present: The Harry Potter Series Lurlene McDaniel books (favorite: "Don't Die, My Love") The "Kissed By an Angel" trilogy by Elizabeth Chandler Nicholas Sparks books (favorite: "The Guardian") Stephen King books (favorites: "Cujo" and "Misery") RL Stine books - Goosebumps and Fear StreetBabysitter's Club books Beverly Cleary books (favorite: the Ramona books, especially "Ramona the Pest") Chicken Soup for the Soul books (can't help it; I'm a sap) I LOVED RL Stine when I was in high school. Of course Christopher Pike led me to these books but those are what got me into reading. I had, at one time, every book those two wrote. Now my daughter is reading them. They are really great books.

I don't really read much other than fanfics lately, but here's a list of some of my favorites from God knows how many years ago up to now.
Goosebumps Animorphs Beverley Cleary books Flowers In The Attic series (this one is really good...I think there's 5 or so books in it) Left Behind (I like both the adult and the kids series) by Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye
And another one I still read sometimes...I have almost all of the books on BSB. That's a more embarrassing fact about me cause generally guys don't read stuff like that. But screw it, I'm surrounded by BSB fans, so I'm gonna admit it proudly!!!

My favorite "real" books would be:
The Series of Unfortunate Events - Lemony Snicket The Chronicles of Narnia - C.S. Lewis
But I still say Julie's fan-fic's are way better than any published book!
