Here's how this goes, someone says a song and someone else describes the type of movie scene it goes with. Or someone can say the song and scene, or just a scene. This is a horrible explanation, but ya'll get it.

Umm...
Green Day's Good Riddance reminds me of a girl that has just left all her friends to pursue her dream in some other city. She's driving down a road that leads out of her town and as she is passing all of her childhood memories, the sun is setting and this song is playing. It's all bitterweet.
Okay, that was really into detail, but I got carried away.

Lol I know! It's hard unless you already have a song in your mind.

Ok I got one. It's called "Te recuerdo", by El canto del Loco. It means "I remember you", and it is so well written some parts make me tear up. So I always think of a guy whose girlfriend died many years ago and he still can't forget her and feels lost and empty without her. Kind of cliché I guess, but it's true.

Oooh that's good. I can see it. I bet he's by a lake where they used to sit, and he's thinking of her and crying.

And besides, there is one point of the song when the singer does sound like he's about to cry. Which is probably the reason it makes me want to cry too, because he sounds genuine.

LOL this is harder than I thought! I'm going through my playlist, and it seems like every song is either FROM a movie, has a clear story to it already through the lyrics, or is a song that I've already attached some kind of Broken/BMS-related meaning to, cause I have a ton of those LOL.

the scene is on a boat outside of Alaska, the woman is coming up from the sleeping quarters and meeting her 5 year old daughter for the "first" time and her dad is there too....(very popular & semi-recent movie)...

I have a song AND a scene ;D
The song is "What I Really Meant To Say", by Cyndi Thomson, and the scene playing out is a woman walking (wherever, a park, a mall, down the street) and she sees the guy that had once been the love of her life. They had broken up a while ago, perhaps a year, and they see each other. She's still in love with him, devastated by losing him, and he seems fine, they just share polite hello's, but inside she's longing for him. But just as fast as they had bumped into each other, they went their own separate ways.
Come to think about it, the scene happens in a movie, but the song is much older and the scene had been in my head since before the movie

That scenario kind of reminds me of her story. www.backstreet-market.net/Again.html It's a good one! ;D

a girl is at a club with a lot of her friends after breaking up with her long time boyfriend and the song is playing. she gets up onto a platform and begins to dance and she is an excellent dancer she dances with a couple of cute guys when her ex walks in with some of his friends and sees her dancing. he is jealous thinking she is dancing too sexily with the other guys and upset shes having a great time instead of crying over him. she doesnt notice him as she has fun with her friends instead of needing him and he realizes he was a jerk who lost something great
