Just wondering if anyone else has a memorable bsb concert experience? Before NG was released they did a small club tour in major US cities and i got my friend and i tickets to the Boston show and rearranged our trip to leave a day earlier (we were going anyway for the tyler hilton/one tree hill tour show the day after), so after an 8 hour overnight busride we made it into Boston and checked into the hotel, which was fairly far away from downtown boston..we went out sightseeing and had my camera and my friends video camera with us to record the places we saw, and afterwards we lined up for the show. As we made it to the door, we were stopped by security saying that we couldnt go in because of the cameras. I figured no problem, we'll just leave them at coatcheck..but they told us no, we couldnt go in at all because we had them. I started explaining to the security guy that we were from Montreal and had been travelling 8 hours to be at the concert, but he didnt care, he just called the cops over to detain us, so i started yelling at him in french until he told the cops to let us go. He then suggested that my friend find a dumpster and hide her 600 dollar video camera there until after the show. Yeah...not happening. Eventually we walked over to a bar down the street and i checked my digital camera in with coat check there, but my friend did not want to leave hers with them. She was wearing baggy jeans and i had a long scarf on, so we went into the bathroom and she used my scarf to strap the camera to her leg under her jeans. We finally got into the concert and my poor friend had to go to the bathroom at least 6 times to retie the scarf, but security never realized she still had the camera. After the show (which was amazing, only a couple of hundred people so it was very intimate) we met some cute guys at the jazz bar next door and spent the next hour making fun of the screaming girls who were waiting for the guys to leave, and everytime one of the guys would walk out the door towards the bus we would start screaming random things like "I love you Steve!", Nick thought it was hilarious, i'm pretty sure the girls wanted to kick our asses though Whew, well thats my memorable experience..honourable mention to my second boston concert that year where they had to keep stopping the show due to severe thunderstorms (if you've ever been to tweeter center, it's pretty much an outdoor venue with the stage and front sections covered by a cement ceiling)

Good story!!!!! I don't think I have any stories that are that interesting. I've smuggled a camera into all but the B&B concert I went to (because I was with my mom and she wouldn't let me ) and never been caught. The last two, I hid it in a makeup bag full of tampons in my purse LOL. Figured no security guard would want to dig through that. They didn't even look though; they just felt the bottom of my purse and shined a flashlight in it for about a second. Ha. I went to one of the Up Close & Personal concerts too, and it was fun. SUCH a good concert, but I literally did not move for 2+ hours because it was SO packed (and it was general admission). I was pinned to a pole for the first two songs, and then I managed to push my way out from around the pole, but from there, I didn't move again. My friend Amanda went with me to that one, and she moved to a less crowded spot, but I refused to move because I could see perfectly from this step I was standing on, so we were separated for most of the concert. My legs were SO stiff when it got over, from not moving the whole time (cause there was nowhere to go LOL), I could barely walk. But it was amazing. ;D

You're allowed to bring cameras to ALL shows in Sweden (so long they're not paparazzi ones) so no need for smuggling here ;D
Great stories you guys!

Mine was my only concert, NG at Darien Lake. I just remember sitting there thinking....after all these years, I'm watching THE backstreet boys. That's Howie in the flesh....OMG that is the one and only AJ....etc, etc, I did this for each one. When they sang the part about making this last forever (can't remember the name of the song) I was melting.

Yeah... that's how I felt at the concert I went to...
Brian was talking in between songs and I tried to remember what he was saying, but I couldn't. I was thinking too much about trying to remember it WHILE he was talking. Guess I should have thought ahead of time, lol.

I remember my BSB concert. I went in 2005 (I think). It was awesome. Some of the things that happened were Nick throwing his water bottle at the crowd (huh?), his guitar pick, and telling us to meet his "girlfriend", which was actually his guitar. Nick would grab the microphones and put them closer to the public , and Brian was making funny faces and stuff. It was great. I was about 5 rows from the front, it was packed, and really hot. But it was awesome. These are just my memories from just now, if I thought about it I could probably remember more things that happened.

My favorite concert still has to be Las Vegas 2001, the last US show of the black and blue tour. It was more than a concert, it was a party. The backstage crew came up on stage a couple times. Like Kevin and Howie were serenating this stage hand that came on stage and started dancing during I Want It That Way. They were rained on by ping pong balls during Yes I Will and AJ cjanged his line to "this is no ordinary show..." There was like a hundred pounds of silly string on stage by the end of the night. Howie and Brian had a hard time singing How Did I fall in love because they were laughing so hard. Oh and someone threw a silly string can on the bridge and Brian picked it up and the fans were screaming for himto throw it, and in his lack of better judgement, threw the can and hit some girl in the head. Oh and when they were suppose to be going into the box to change, the entire stage crew came up through the box and Brian circled through it like three times and one time he was wearing just a tank top and smily face boxers. My friend and I were like, "did he just do that?" The show was like four hours long, but it went by in a flash. It was really a fantastic experience. I loved every minute of it. One of the things I love about them live is they are so funny and know how to entertain the crowd.

I don't have a favorite concert memory...probably considering I've never been to one out in the audience...but I wanted to go to one on the NG tour. Didn't get to. But I'm tellin ya...I WILL go to a show on this next tour. I don't care who I have to kill to get to the show, I'll do my jailtime later. Hahahahaha.

Well I have only been to one concert and it was the NG Europe Tour.. the exact date was October 30, 2005. I was living in Netherlands back then and I won the soundcheck tickets from the Weird World Fan Club. Then I met with two Dutch girls and we drove all the way to Cologne, Germany by car. We stayed at the same hotel (Hilton) with the guys, and we actually got the chance to meet and talk with them a while. Then I got a picture taken with Howie -it was so weird because i was standing aside when he was taking pictures with the others and he saw me and actually asked me to take a pic with him. I was like "okay!". It was funny. And then the next day as we waited for them to leave the hotel, my friends found a guy who was Turkish and worked in the hotel and he told me that the guys would leave from the parking lot of the hotel instead of the front door and we were the only ones who knew it so we went down to the parking lot, saw the van there and there was no security guards and Nick and AJ were in the van. I went over and noticed that AJ was sleeping and Nick was busy with his phone but I said hi and waved to Nick, he looked up and said hi back. Then by pure chance, we managed to fall behind them when we were exiting the parking lot and we followed them all the way to the arena, though we couldn't pass the guards again to the arena's parking lot. And during the soundcheck, I got to chat with Brian and Kevin, when I asked them to sing a line from "Memories" and Brian was surprised and he was like "how do you know that song?" and i said "Thanks to internet, duh." Nick was pretty moody though, he was sick and drinking tea but we were standing right in front of him and he suddenly started to feel better and flirted with my friend! He was very very flirty and at the end of the soundcheck, he went down the stage and come near us with Tim (was that the name of that handsome bodyguard? Or was it Tony?LOL) and he shook my friend's and my hand and he said "See you sweetheart" to my friend. Finally during the concert, the best moment for me was when Kevin sang a part of "I Want It That Way" to me, I was actually beaming with happiness! I guess I was pretty lucky for my first concert!! ;D
