Who is the guy in the story? What is it about? I just started reading, "Don't Call Me, Nicky." LOL. But what is the other story about?

Ya know, I love both these stories and all, but she makes Nick think he' stupid a lot, and is constantly talking about his weight. I don't like those things all too much, but other than that the stories are good.

I don't like those things all too much, but other than that the stories are good. I think she is trying to portray Nick realistically and what he might have been going through at the time. Nick has always struggled with is weight and has admitted it over the years. It's one of his insecurities in the story and probably in real life too. In both stories that you are reading, Nick has made some wrong decisions when it came to women (also in real life, ugh Paris) like typical men do and while it may seem like he's stupid in the story, as it progresses you see the changes in Nick and his maturity much like he is now in real life. That's just what I got out of it, but I understand where you are coming from. jenn

If so, it's an AU where the guys are all baseball players for the Seattle Mariners. But it doesn't matter if you don't like baseball; it's more about the relationship of the guys than baseball. It's very much a group story, but Nick has a big part in it. There's some romance in it too, and drama, and lots of comedy.

I think I'm on chapter 8 or something, lol. But it's great! And I love how when asked if he bats left or right, he said, "Only when I have to." LOL!!! I was in math class when I read that and it was during a test (I had finished already) and I started cracking up and my teacher glanced at me giving me the first warning I'd ever gotten in that class, lol.

But people talking about Nick's weight has always been a touchy subjest for me. I mean, I'm not saying the stories aren't good, I love them. But every other sentence it seems she's metioning his weight.

I think the whole concept of it being AU is what really makes it interesting! LOL I love AU stories.

Yeah! AJ cracks me up so much in it; he's great!! LOL AJ always has the class clown persona in stories. It just fits him so well. Brian is always the loveable one that can be funny and serious. Kevin is always the 'daddy' and the serious one. Nick is always the one that's eh..not all there and is always in trouble rather it be relationships or what not. And Howie is usually 'just there' being sweet. I've noticed that in all fan fics just about. LOL

Yeah, I know! It's so weird how, just because we've all seen most of the same videos of them, we all have such a similar view on what they're like in real life, lol.

I know, it'd be weird if they all truned out to be like that. Which I'm sure they would, the guys are two different people. They act them same while working and when they aren't working.

I'm going to have to read Between The Lines. I've always avoided it b/c it was a AU, but all I've ever heard over the years was how good of a story it is. My husband it out of town for the next 3 nights, so now I have something to entertain me jenn

You've confused me again Kristy, lol. idk, sometimes it bugs me that I know they aren't EXACTLY like what they're put out to be, but I suppose that's just my wishful thinking, lol.
