Aww, understandable LOL. That's how I feel about my close friends - why would I care what they think? One of my guy friends is a total computer geek and runs one of those role playing games where you can be a dwarf or an ogre or a wizard or something like that, and he coded the whole thing himself when he was in 8th grade and is making money off of it nowadays, which is the only reason he still runs it, but seriously, is writing Bsb fanfic any more nerdy than that? I don't think so. But I still would be embarrassed if my friends knew LOL.

Now... I can't say that I'd be embarassed, because, when it gets down to it, I only have one true friend outside of this forum... and she really doesn't give a crap if I like BSB, because her older sister is a fan as well, lol. And it obviously doesn't matter that you guys know I write fanfic's, lol.
Yeah, my 18 year old brother is always watching Dragon Ball Z, so I have comebacks, lol.

Well none of my family or friends know that I read FF, mainly because i know they don't care. Only some people know that every once in a while I write stories, but they never ask about what I write because they already know I won't answer.
The embarrassing part is, all my high school friends remember me as a BSB fan, which I found very cute at the moment. I remember most of them being into rock or heavy metal at the time I was listening to BSB and when they make fun of me, all I tell them is they are my inspiration and that I've been to their concert last year and that I've met them. That alone is enough for them to shut their mouth and I can notice their amusement, considering the circumstances! Oh, I love doing that!!!
And the funny thing is, now as I grew older, I feel myself more proud to tell people that I listen to BSB, because everytime the reaction appears to be like "How can a person like you listens to BSB?" and more and more people around me started to see BSB's music more of an "adult" music rather than a teen music. You know what i'm saying?
About the FF thing, it's a whole another story. I love reading, and reading FF is like reading another genre for me. But since most people around me don't understand my obsession with reading, I don't even bother them telling I read FF. ;D LOL

No one in my family has a clue ;D. Or of my friends for that matter. They know I like BSB but I know what they'd think if they knew I read BSB FF.

I know... last year on the bus, I was talking to my friend Jake and he asked me what CD I had in my CD player and I got embarrassed and said, "Backstreet Boys..." he was like, "Oh! I used to like them!!!" LOL! It was pretty funny!

LOL that's cute! Yeah, usually the only reaction I get these days is questions about whatever happened to Bsb. People are always shocked when I tell them they're still together and are planning another album.

I know!!! I was at the doctors one time... and that day I had met one of the local news guys and was hyped from that, and my doctor said to my mom, "Great, hopefully next time she doesn't meet Brad Pitt!" LOL! And I was like, "You mean the Backstreet Boys..." and he asked me, "they're still around?" LOL!
