I'm full of thread ideas today! LOL This is a question for the writers. Out of all the stories you've written, which is your favorite and why? Post a link to it, too - good opportunity for a plug!

For me, I'd have to say Broken/BMS, which can be found on my site if you don't have the link. Those two together are my favorite of my stories so far and the ones I'm most proud of, mostly because I think they're my best-written fics to date. Also, they've been a nice challenge for me, a chance to stretch myself a bit with my writing. With Broken, I started out in a genre that was comfortable to me because I'd written in it many times before, but it ended up being challenging because I tried to go to the next level with it and write stuff I wasn't so comfortable writing. It was also my challenge to myself to make it as accurate as I could, so I put a lot more effort into researching than I ever had before. With BMS, that same challenge continued, but I think the bigger challenge with that one was to write a decent romance. I have quite a few stories that are labeled as romances, but not many where the romance plot and all its issues are really at the forefront, and, frankly, none where I feel like the romance was developed and written realistically. BMS has its issues, but I feel like it's at least better than my older "romances," and I managed to have more internal conflicts than just relying on external conflicts (like, where the couple only breaks up because one of them gets killed at the end LOL).

Mine is my lovely baby "Pandora's Box." I've been writing it for a year and three months now, and it just means the world to me because I took something I felt very strongly about and turned it into a fan fic. It was also the first BSB fan fic I'd written in about three years, and the first one I'll have finished since 2000. So it means a lot to me. Check it out. www.absolutechaos.net/viewstory.php?sid=6894

I can't post a link to mine cause it's in portuguese, but the favourite of my stories is called "Why Don't You and I" (That's right, the title is in english cause I suck at naming my stories) and it's basically about the Boys making a movie.
I love it because it became really popular here and I started to get so much feedback! Also, the main female character is far from perfect (which I loved writing!) and ends up dating AJ but is in love with Nick, in a platonic way. I knew before I started writing who I wanted her to end up with, but people got really involved in it, sending me huge e-mails telling me why the character should be with Nick or AJ.
It was a challange for me to write the Nick/AJ stuff in a non-cliché way. But I'm really proud of it. I knew it was working when the character thought she was pregnant and I started to get this crazy feedback saying "Oh my God, who is the father? Who is the father?" and I was like "What are they talking about? She and Nick never slept together!". So I had to make an update to remind people that, even if there was this crazy sexual tension between the two of them, they never even touched each other! LOL It was so funny but I knew then that I was writing it the right way!

Aww, that's cute, Juliane! LOL I feel like I'm missing out now! I wish Americans were made to be bilingual. The only other language I might be able to read fanfic in is German... I read a short story in German once just to see if I could actually understand it, and while I couldn't understand every word or anything, I definitely got the gist of it. But yeah, I wish I could read your stuff! I guess I could always try Altavista's translator or something, but those tend to butcher things LOL.

Mmm, I'd have to say my current story "A Write Kind of Love". My other stories are decent, but this one I've grown a lot on and the character is based on me so it's brutally honest and I've exposed a lot of myself and therefore, I've learned a lot about myself. Bonus is, a lot of people seem to enjoy it which is surprising and humbling. I've written Nick extremely raw and honest as well and so yeah, I guess it would be my favorite story thus far. You can find it in two places. On my website at www.bed-head.net/bsn and on AC at www.absolutechaos.net/viewstory.php?sid=5489

There's one story of mine that I'm really proud of. It's only a short story, but I remember getting feedback in which people actually thought I was the character, which really took me by surprise. I actually had to write in the disclaimer that the girl wasn't real and it was not me. Anyways, it's a short story, the first of what I like to call The Diary Series, which consist of four short stories. The story is told by Leighanne's younger sister (whom I made up) and it's in diary format. I don't have it posted anywhere, so I can't share it with you guys, it's laying around somewhere in my hard drive.

I've only got like 3 or 4... but I guess my favorite is "A New Truth". It's about a girl called Michelle who's in an orphanage because her parents abused her physically. So she's really young and thinks that the way she's always been treated is normal and the way all parents treat their kids. Basically, she's never really experienced love. So a couple (Brian and her wife) come along and teach her a "new truth" about life. Okay, so now you don't even need to read it. ¬¬ It's on absolutechaos.net, called "A new truth", my nickname is estrelleta.

I can't promise you I'll translate THAT story, because it's long, like not TOO long but 55 chapters which is pretty long I think, but I'll definetly translate SOMETHING. Cause I feel bad that I've seen your writing and I write too and you never get to see mine. =) So I promise you'll read some of my stuff very soon!
