Aww geez! When Claire turned her ring back around, I seriously think I felt my own heart sink! I was like, "NO! Claire, what are you doing?! Turn that ring back around this instant!" How did I know ahead of time that they would be at Leonardi's? hehe, that's practically the only thing predictable in your story! And the booth. How is it that they've been lucky enough to get "their" booth every time they've gone there? And Claire not accepting money from Nick, that's just... how do you not accept that when you need it?! Of course, I suppose it's different when you're actually in that situation, but with it being fiction, I'm always thinking, "TAKE THE MONEY!!! It's right there! Even I can smell it and I'm just the reader for Pete's sake!" hehe. I can't believe the twins are 11 months old already! Has time really gone by that fast?! So it's... it must be the middle of April in 2009, huh? It's past April fools day and you didn't have Nick do anything, Julie?! *pulls hair out* What has this world come to?! I think I'm in the same state as Jamie right now. I'm kind of still dumbfounded and just still in shock that this is really happening. Or... not REALLY, but in the story. Well, YOU make it so realistic, it might as well be ACTUALLY happening!!! I was sitting here the whole time thinking, "What can Claire do? If she's not going to accept anything from Nick and her parents can't be there forever, she needs a job. But then, what is she going to do with the twins? She'll need to get them in daycare or get a babysitter, but she needs money for that too which is another reason to go to work. But then, where is she going to get money in the meantime? Is there anyone she knows that would babysit for free? Family? Friends? What is she going to do?!" I'm seriously going crazy over here!!! And you just remember Julie, that if I end up in the Mental Institution, it's partly YOUR fault! It was a great chapter Julie! You really got me thinking about this. Can't wait for the next chapter!

If I'd just stared, I don't think I would have been able to give such long feedback! haha.

Great chapter Julie!! I loved it when Nick was prompted to leave right there. More and more, despite his feelings, I think he realizes he's trying for nothing. But we'll see what'll happen.

Wow, thanks, Amy! Yeah, Leonardi's... I guess it's like a comfort thing; you always know it's gonna be in there. And I view it as kind of a dive, not very crowded during the day, so I guess that's why they always get their booth LOL. I understand your frustration LOL, but it's just not in Claire's nature to take his money. If they were dating, it'd be one thing, but she would feel like she was using him for his money if she accepted it, friends or not. She wants to be independent and make her own way, not rely on him for help. The twins are 11 WEEKS, not months LOL. So I haven't skipped much time at all, I think like a month is all. I can't do that whole "one year later" business unless there's a really good reason for all the time skippage LOL. It is April 2009 though (they were born in Jan 2009), and yeah, I guess I did skip April Fool's Day LOL. It just wasn't important. Aww LOL... well, I'm glad her situation seems realistic enough that you're worried for her! LOL Don't worry though... Thanks for the feedback!

I might need some therapy after all this is over! hehe.
