How is life: Good/crazy busy
What are you up to: Full time student (living an hour away from my school now), full time work/transitioning into a management position.
How is...
School: Just okay. I have a TON of reading homework this term and am behind on it. Loving it all the same though.
Work: It's a little rocky. Having some struggles with results/people. My new GM is awesome though. I've actually known him for about a year and a half. But he makes work fun/interesting/easier/worth it.
Family: It's okay right now. Nothing really to talk about.
Relationships: Finally got out of an unhealthy relationship that I never really mentioned to you guys. All is well now and I'm slowly overcoming it.
Adventures this year: I lived with a Greek family for about 3 months and it was one of the coolest experiences. Now currently living with a young pregnant couple. This should be interesting.
Something great that happened: Got promoted twice within two months of transferring back to my old store. This was back in June-ish though. But still great!
Struggles: Keeping focused on my priorities and what is urgent.
Hopes and dreams: I would like to eventually get my official management position... also ready to have a real relationship, or at least some consistent friendships. And I want to get back to being involved in some sort of ministry. The church thing hasn't gone well this year.
Epiphanies: I vaguely mentioned this awhile back, and I will go into more detail when I finish writing about it, but I had an epiphany about some music. This is related to my new obsession.
I don't have a question to put this with, but my new obsession is Green Day. I've been listening to them nonstop since early August. Trying to go to a concert, but the two closest to me are sold out. Considering going to Oregon, but still need to find someone to go with. Not to mention Billie Joe Armstrong is still in rehab... so who knows if he'll even get out in time for the concerts.

I don't remember. Who is your new best friend and how did you meet? Been there with the depression. That's an ongoing struggle for me sometimes. I'll keep you in my prayers. I have faith you will overcome it. You ALREADY speak a bunch of languages!!! How many more/what others do you want to learn?

I went to Oslo for a weekend. It was around my birthday, it was cheap, and my sister had never been there either. I had been to Norway before, just not the capital. We just did some sightseeing and such, it was really nice. My new best friend is a Norwegian guy, he's amazing, we met online (he's a fellow tetris addict) and talk pretty much every day, haha. Used to be for hours, now he has a job, sigh. I speak Catalan, Spanish and English as a native speaker. I'm also decent at French and Norwegian. I would like to become fluent in those two and also able to speak Swedish (I can handle small conversations now but nothing huge, it bears a lot of similarities with Norwegian). There are other languages that interest me like Indonesian (I have a friend who occasionally teaches me some words), Dutch, Finnish (but so freaking difficult!) and Icelandic (it has awesome letters like þ ð, called thorn and eth, also it's similar to Norwegian in some senses, so I can already make out a bit of it when written). Basically, I'd like to be fluent in at least 5 languages but have a bit of knowledge on several others too

I LOVE tetris!! Are there any particular reasons you want to learn those languages specifically? I know a few words in Finnish, btw. I'm part Finnish and my grandparents taught me a few when I was growing up. I would love to learn some French and Greek at some point.

I LOVE tetris!! Are there any particular reasons you want to learn those languages specifically? I know a few words in Finnish, btw. I'm part Finnish and my grandparents taught me a few when I was growing up. I would love to learn some French and Greek at some point. Hahaha... awesome. What's your fastest time clearing 40 lines? Where do you play it? French: cause I already know so much, I feel it wouldn't take that long to reach fluency, and I've actually used it quite a bit because French people suck at English and don't know Spanish. Norwegian: because I love Norway, and because of my Norwegian friends, and it really is a beautiful sounding language that I love. Plus because of it I can understand written and spoken Swedish and Danish. Swedish: because I can understand a lot of it already, it would be cool to be able to produce it too. Indonesian: because it is SO different from the rest. And also its "caveman" grammar makes me laugh. They don't say "you are smart", they don't even have that verb. They say "you smart". It's entertaining. Also the pronunciation is fairly easy for a Spanish-speaker. Dutch: I was in the Netherlands for one week once, and picked up on so much, that I kind of always wished after that that I could take it further and learn more. Finnish:That's awesome that you know some. This language would definitely be very challenging. I like how it looks though. Like for example "kilpikonna" (turtle). I think that's a very cool looking word. Icelandic: because of the letters thorn and eth as I explained before. LOL. I think it looks amazing. Also it has a very unique sound.

Umm... around 2 minutes I think. I kind of stopped playing, because my internet wasn't able to keep up and my computer would freeze up whenever I played. I forgot to mention that I would love to learn Russian! I used to know enough to communicate with an eight year old, but I only remember a few words now.

I'll try to remember to download that after my semester is over. Otherwise it will just distract me. Thanks!! You and I do need to chat sometime though. But I think we are online at totally different times.
