I don't know how often this will come in handy, but I thought I'd make a general thread for people who need translating done for their stories or anything else. Since we have people here who are fluent in more than one language, we might be able to help each other!
For example... I'm writing a 00Carter part right now where I could use some French. I know I can just go plug what I want to say into a translator and get a poorly-done translation, which will be fine if I need it to be, since most people would never know the difference, but it'd be more fun to have it be accurate!
So... anyone fluent in French? LOL
If anyone else has requests, post them here, or if you're willing to help translate for something else, post what languages you know.

I thought she was... go French Canada! We'll see if she pops on later. I'm still writing the part, so I'm just doing it in English first.

Ask me if you need any help with Spanish or Catalan. I'll even try French if Kat isn't around

Here is the dialogue I need translated into French. It's for 00Carter, so there is no hurry LOL. I can either plug it into a translator or get around it if I need to, but like I said, since I know there are people online who are fluent in French, I thought I'd see if I could get an accurate translation, cause that would be fun! So if anyone wants to try it, go for it, and if not, that's okay too.
“Excuse me, sir?”
“Yes?”
“I’m sorry to disturb you. I’m here studying the Bastille, and I was hoping you could point me in the direction of any relics of it that might be preserved here.”
“All that’s left of the prison is a pile of stones from one of the towers. They were excavated from underneath the subway at the turn of the last century. They’re in the Square Henri Galli now, down Boulevard Henri IV.”
“Thank you!”

“Thank you!”Darn, most of it goes beyond my abilities. But here's the first part: "Pardonne-moi, monsieur?" "Oui?" Also, "Thank you" = "Merci" (or thank you very much = merci beaucoup)

Thanks! I knew "oui" and "merci" but I figured the longer chunks would be hard. That's a start, anyway!
