Thank you!! And I agree with you 100%, it takes a lot of determination to be able to do that but it's what was necessary. I've never been the type to put up with a relationship even though it's not a healthy one for the sake of not being alone. And thank you for your nice words, I love 00Carter, I never thought I would enjoy writing it as much as I do. And it inspires me a lot to do even more! A definite ney year resolution for me: Be more active and write more! LOL

Other than that, my personal life has been kinda bleh. My boyfriend broke up with me last January saying he didn't want to commit, and despite all his attempts in April, June, July, September AND November, I didn't take him back. This was a great accomplisment for me, since i could finally set my foot and say no. And I know very well what I want from my relationships and what I don't want. And it really gives you a clear head! quote] Hahaha... every two months, huh? So be prepared, cause your boyfriend will try again in January, March and May! That's kind of funny.

So, I got so caught up on the bad stuff that happened to me that I forgot to mention some good things! (yes, I am a recovering pessimist) I managed to make tons of trips. I actually spent my 17th birthday in both Denmark and Germany. Other countries I made it to were the US, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, France, the Czech Republic and Austria (and I think that's it, but there may be more, since it was a roadtrip). Oh, yes, we had lunch one day in Bratislava, so that's another country (Slovakia)(so that day we were in 3 countries!)

That's amazing! I would love to be able to travel like that! That's one of many nice things about living in Europe; it's much easier to visit other countries, since they're smaller and close together. It's just so expensive to fly to another continent.

Oh, yeah, I think it's pretty cool too. Like, if you feel like spending the day in France, it's totally doable. I've been to a little town called Carcassone several times, for example, without needing to spend the night there. It can be tiring to spend so many hours in a car, though. (or in a train)

I'm officially jealous of you!!!! It's amazing to travel just like that!! Me too! LOL When I was growing up, my family never took vacations, cause we had no money, and my parents don't really care for traveling much. Until 2005, I had only flown twice, both times to visit my mom's sister's family (once when they lived in Texas and once to Arizona). The only real vacation my family took altogether was when we drove to Florida and did the Disney World thing. So I could count on one hand the times that I'd been out of the midwest. I love to travel, probably because I felt so deprived as a kid LOL, so I'm hoping I can do more of it as an adult. In the last four years alone, I've been on as many trips on my own as I took when I was a kid, so I guess that's a start LOL.

I've never flown before. We drove to North and South Dakota once when I was younger, and also down to San Diego when I was ten.
But we've gone on a lot of vacations. Usually to Montana or just eastern Washington.
