Well i agree with most of the things you said although i think it's just a too obvious way for the girl and the Claire to be friends and all. But it's Julie's call at the end.
I had one more thing to say about this whole Jamie affair. Whether we want it or not, in stories -or novels- characters are building up their own selves. They sometimes get out of the writer's control, in such way that even though it shouldn't happen, or you don't want it, it happens. In such a powerful story like Julie's where characters are very well built and balanced in themselves, we are trying to control a character that has his own power in his hand in some sort of weird way. Here you go, one more reason why i love Julie's stories.

"No" always seems to be winning, but then "Yes" catches up, and that's kinda how I feel about it too LOL. It's all good though; I'm glad to see so many people care enough to vote, and I love the differing opinions.

If people want drama, make Jaime cheat with a guy. That'll bruise Claire's ego. LOL I'm just joking, or am I?

LOL then it will be some drama. I would love to see Nick's reaction if Jamie cheated on Claire with a guy. ;D

Thinking more into option A, with Jamie refusing to tell Claire what happened, maybe the girl he slept with could be someone Claire runs into after she goes back to Iowa and befriends. They start on the subject of men and this girl talks about how she's met up with some real assholes in different bars and been used by them only to have them run out on her the next morning. One guy in particular flipped out on her the morning after screaming something about his wife is going to kill him if she ever finds out and sh*t like that. The new girl goes on saying something like even though he flipped and ran, he was hot and he had a name that she loved...enter the accidental confession that this girl slept with Claire's husband.
I love the idea! Claire needs to make friends in Iowa, anyway, she can't keep making Nick come every time she's feeling down.

Sorry Julie!! lol Can't help it, I just have a bunch of ideas all jumbled up. But the rest of you make good points as well.
In response to what you said, jellicile, I didn't really suggest that Claire and this girl be friends right away, I guess I was thinking more that they'd meet and just talk for a while for lack of something better to do...I dunno. I could go into another long explanation, but I'll spare ya. lol
Now having Jamie cheat with Leah? That's a stroke of genius right there in my eyes. That would be perfect, actually, cause everyone already hates Leah and considering what she's done in the past, that'd be right up her alley. She's been married to that David guy for a while now, she's bound to be getting bored with him by now.
And Jamie cheating on Claire with a GUY??? LMFAOO!!!!!!! I swear, I almost fell off the couch, I was laughing so hard. Might wanna get him good and drunk for that, though. Oh, and I was happy with my cameo in a previous chapter. Don't put me in again as the guy Jamie sleeps with. I'll never be able to go near a bed again. I'm not too proud to beg, here. Hahahahaha.
Okay, that's enough of my blabbing for now. See ya later!!!

Remember this part? That's when I thought about Jamie having affair with a man... LMAO. Wouldn't that be an interesting twist? Maybe he's been gay this whole time and only married Claire, his old high school sweetheart, to cover it up because he's ashamed or won't admit it to himself. If you think about it, he's never been tied to another girl in the story... no mentions of any ex-girlfriends besides Claire... one never knows.

Wow...that was good. LMAO!!! OH! I know! Remember at the wedding reception when Jamie and Claire danced to N*Sync's 'This I Promise You'? Think about it...this whole time, Jamie has been obsessed with Lance Bass, and he only married Claire to piss off Nick because he's always been an N*Sync fan. Add to that Claire's connections with the entertainment industry, and now Jamie thinks that maybe since Claire has friends high up in the business, he can meet Lance through her and have an elicit, steamy affair. Even if he isn't fond of Nick, Claire also talks to the other guys, right? Er...no...wait, that was another fanfic. Where the girl was close friends with AJ and Howie as well. It was the one you suggested, Julie...the girl that met Nick when he was 11 or something and it kept going back and forth between how their relationship grew in the past and what was happening in the present...she had diabetes and lupus and a bunch of other stuff, too. Can't remember the name of the story right now. Never mind. But getting back to BMS, it would still work, though, wouldn't it? Jamie using Claire's connections to the Backstreet Boys just to get close to Lance? Hmmm...maybe not that way. Oh, well. There are other ways it could happen. But yeah, there's my little rambling session for the morning. I need food. Later!!!

Is this where Lance makes his cameo? Technically, Lance already has a cameo, hehe... anyone remember the part where Claire and Jamie are at the 4th of July party at one of his coworkers' house, and they play volleyball? His coworker's "life partner" was named Lance LOL... and that was BEFORE Lance "came out." But I do like the idea, hehe. And it was Cover Me With Dreams, Nick.

Ooooooohhhhhhhh, yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhh......my mind is a bajillion miles away right now. Anyone ever realize how attempting to make wedding plans just kinda zaps you into la la land? It's annoying, but worth it in the end. Thanks, Julie!!!!
