I suggest French. It's a beautiful language and the sentence structure is the same as English. I took 2 years in high school and loved it.

I like it, the only problem is that the professor has gone really fast this semester and I honestly haven't had the time to sit down and really study it, mainly because of my Databases class, which has literary taken all my free time plus half of my studying time. I have to divide the other half for my other 4 classes, not easy

Oh, I take French too!! I think it's easy, but then I have an advantage because I know the language closest to French, Catalan- the two languages developed together or something.

But yes, the structure is similar to English, but it's also very similar to Spanish as they both are romance languages, it's actually kind of a mix of both English and Spanish

My bf knows way more than I do, he has studied it longer, he did in high school, plus his grandmother is German, so it is her native language. I would LOVE to visit Germany!! In class, the professor has shown us some video clips that go along side the lessons, and after taking the course (or being in the middle of it) I really want to actually visit the country, and experience it myself

That is the part that I don't like about it. I had a horrible teacher my second year and would just make up whether the word was F or M. She never noticed the difference. I couldn't imagine having to learn English as a second language.

@ Nina It should be possible for you to visit Germany. It's not THAT far from Spain, you know? And today you actually find cheap flights. I have been to Spain three times already eventhough the only word I know is "Hola".

Oh, I'm not from Spain, I'm from Puerto Rico ;D Which is really far, way down in the Caribbean, but I do want to visit Spain too, since our culture has so much from them. My bf wants to visit Germany, mainly because of his grandmother, so it's part of his roots, so perhaps in the future we'll be able to go

Oh, don't worry about it, we used to belong to Spain so no harm done don't be embarrassed! It is beautiful, especially the beaches. I actually live near the beach, on the north side. You can see the ocean from the second floor of my house, I don't get to go much cause of school, but I love looking at it when we drive by it, and I love the smell of the sea breeze, there's just nothing like it ;D I hope one day you'll be able to come

You are so lucky. I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas, well when I'm home from school atleast. Our beach is gross. The water is brown and the sand matches. It's the toliet of the Gulf. The only good thing, or not so good thing, is the temperature stays around 80 degrees. *shurgs* I guess I'll take what I can get.
