Chapter 6 is up on the main site! www.dreamers-sanctuary.com/guilty.htmlThis is where the story takes a turn, a turn I’d planned but I don’t think you’ll expect, so I hope you like it. It’s something different, anyway, in a story that is otherwise pretty old-school suspense cliché. Let me know what you think, and thanks for reading!

First off... I hate the "next" button that's supposed to go to the next chapter but doesn't actually go anywhere. It's a terrible tease.
LOL Anyway, that was quite interesting! I didn't expect that, but it kind of made sense, haha. Can't wait for more!"

LOL sorry, I know!
Thanks! It explains the setting, anyway; otherwise I totally would have used Chicago.

I loved Chapter 6!!! But as always, I'm left wanting more Poor Kevin Imagine living like that? I do sometimes think it would be a good thing, to just get away from it all and live simply. But then I think "nah" lol

Well...that explains the two roads on the banner now..lol!! I was wondering why it had a country road on it.
I loled at the Misery reference..I LOVE that movie! I think I would go nuts if I had to stay in Amish country...yes, I'm spoiled!! I NEEEEEEEEED my cell phone!!! I neeeeeeed electricity!!! I NEEEED indoor plumbing!!! lol.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I could never live like that either LOL. I'm way too dependent on electricity. I don't even know what to do with myself when the power goes out for more than an hour. Usually I'm on the computer or watching TV, so then it's like, now what? Read a book? That's the only other thing I can think of to do... I don't even write by hand LOL. Of course, the Amish actually go outside and WORK hard, so I'm sure that takes up a lot of their time. I would not like it LOL.

Wow, what a great chap! Definitely took a different turn. Well, at least he came across good people...guess they actually came across him. Can't wait to see who he called.
And this kind of reminds me of the Village. Lol!
Thanks for updating!

I think I'd be okay without everything for awhile, but I would miss all of you guys (my online friends). Granted, I have some of your addresses to mail you letters and cards or whatever, but not everyone.

LOL it reminds me of The Village too! I promise, there is no Village-esque twist - and it won't be like in Misery either, though I thought as I was writing that part, that would have been cool LOL.
Glad you liked it; thanks, Sel!

LOL you're welcome. I planned on writing more but I realized I had to leave for a lesson! You did a great job making your Amish characters very Amish. I instantly knew she was amish before she said it just by the way you had her talking. you do a great job with descriptions!
