I find PDA is a bit of a contrast to what they were trying to achieve with the album. I mean we all remember the "If you want it to be good girl" days when Nick was all young and cute and could get away with saying pervy things, but to me it seems like they were really trying to grow their music with this album more than between previous ones, and then they go and do a song like PDA where it's just blatantly sexual and theyre not really young enough for it to be cute anymore lol I mean theyre married with kids now, it just seems to go a little bit against what they seemed to be going for with the album in general.

I agree with what you were saying, it's kind of weird that they would accept songs like this since both Howie and Brian are married and have kids, but it IS just their music, it doesn't mean anything. And they don't write all of it themselves.
When they said they wanted their music to "grow" that doesn't necessarily mean that they wanted to grow away from the sexual songs, though. *shrugs* I don't know what they meant, but they could have meant something completely different.
(btw, if this sounds like I'm snapping at you, I'm not, lol. I was just in an argument, and hopefully it doesn't sound like I'm taking it out on you. I was just saying... Maybe I should stop talking. I probably should have waited to post in the first place... oh well. LOL)

whats such a big deal about booty? pda is a good song i like it It's not so much the word "booty," it's more the whole concept. Some people just aren't into the blunt-ness. That's how it is for me personally, anyway. *shrugs and allows others to say otherwise if I wasn't spot-on* LOL

I just think it's a stupid song LOL. I was going to say that's why I wish they would write more of their own music, so it would hopefully fit THEM better, but then I remembered they co-wrote She's a Dream. Um, never mind LOL.

LOL Yeah...
I don't know, I mean, I don't necessarily like PDA, but it's catchy enough for me to listen to every once in awhile. I really like SAD though LOL
I definitely agree though. The should write more of their songs. I've loved practically every song they wrote themselves. They're just so much better, especially when you know they have actual meaning to them.

When I heard the first few bars of PDA, I was thinking, "Ooh, danceable.. Love it!" But then I heard the words and I was like >> : O and I know that they are old enough to sing about touching girls booties in public, but that was never them.
They were about holding the person they loved after, You know, ; ) and I was kind of hoping that there would be a good mix of really beautiful ballads and dance records on this album.
I hope that in the future, they will do just that. I don't want them to completely change, and I know that it's not the 90's anymore, but I'm sure that all the true fans will appreciate a good love song here and there : )

I'm gonna be the standout and say I see nothing wrong with PDA lmao. Yeah they have wives and all that, well except Nick and AJ. But those boys aren't innocent, lord knows they get it on with their wives. And during Unbreakable promo, and even NG promo, Brian said some stuff I didn't need to know lmao.
I mean it's likely more relevant to them than say...the breakup songs? Purely because 2 are happily married lol.
But that's just me lol.

Also, Bigger is my skip track, can't stand it lol. Like seriously, I'm annoyed it's the 2nd single.
I adore Undone, best track on the album, followed closely by TIU, and SAD. Undone just has a haunting feel to it, and I dig it. SAD is melodically pretty, just ignore Shawty being a liar or crazy lol. This Is Us, I like the message of the song, and they all sound fantastic on it, plus you hear Nick's range on that song? A little crazy.

My top three right now are probably If I Knew Then, Masquerade, and This Is Us. Shattered is gorgeous too.

LOL I just saw this. You did now! Masquerade is fun. "One's a tiger, one's a lynx, one's a king that's suffering.." That's my favorite part LOL.

That's my favorite part too, Julie!!!!! And Nick's part in TIU. Howie's "ba ba ba ba ba ba ba" in BBL And..... Brian's "And now I'm shattERerERerERERRRRered." I'm really digging BBL though. Seriously, "I think I wanna stay single. Maybe we're better apart..." LOL Okay I'm done. I'm pretty much just repeating the lyrics. Though I will say that I have nothing against PDA. I'm not like "Ewe gross!!" It's perfectly fine, I'm just not used to BSB being so blunt. It's not like I don't listen to other music, lmao. Nickelback's Animals, anyone?

You sure you're not used to that? LOL it may have been awhile, but Boys Will Be Boys, and If You Want It To Be Good Girl" is pretty forward. Or "if you lay down beside me, I can get all inside you, you can get all inside me too" lmao. It's just been awhile is all.
BBL is quite bouncy. I'm still mad "Trouble" never made it to the album. Have y'all listened to the bsides?

LOL I see what you're saying, but for me personally it's completely different, because I was really young when I first heard those songs, so I had no idea what they meant. Even when I listen to them now, I still don't hear the same meaning as everyone else, lmao. It's just the new ones that I hear the same meaning.
And no, I haven't listened to any of the bsides yet... I should do that soon.
