Ok so I was wandering around on the net today looking for some good Nick fan fics which I should know by now is a lost cause. But anyway I stumbled upon fan fic's for Keith Urban, NSYNC ( I know that's wrong but 'm not a fan so it's not my job to care) , StarGate and tons of others.
For some reason I never thought that other people would have fan fic's, I always just thought it was a BSB/ boyband thing.
Did anyone else realize that all these other people had fan fic's roaming the open range? Or am I really just that sheltered?

You're sheltered.
LOL! Nah... I mean, I always assumed that there were others before I actually saw them, but I understand where you're coming from. I tend to forget that it's not just BSB that have lives outside of being celebrities... I actually forced myself to find out more about Green Day because of this, lol.

Gee thanks. I knew I was sheltered . It was just weird.
I knew it had to come from somewhere but.. it was just weird to see all the other ones. I guess I just never noticed them before.

I know what you mean... even though I know about them, it still seems a little strange when I see them, lol.

Omg, go to fanfiction.net and just look around. People write fanfics about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! It is freaking insane!! LOL Some of them make sense... like Harry Potter, Star Wars, certain books and TV shows and of course other celebrities... that makes sense to me. But... Super Mario Brothers? The Rugrats? The BIBLE? That's just... weird.

I've actually read articles about fanfic, and the Trekkies (Star Trek fans) are the first ones who really started writing it in the modern era. But there are examples throughout history of "fan fiction" - a story based on someone else's story or something. I'm blanking on the examples, but I've read a couple of articles that talked about this.

LOL that's what I thought. I guess if you're maybe writing a fictional version of something that happens in a Bible, but sticking to the Bible and keeping it Christian, that would be okay... but all I can picture is Jesus and some Mary Sue getting it on, and that is awful! LOL

Wow I'm not even going to touch the bible thing because I know that will anger some peeps . But yeah that's hilarious Julie. I guess that means that we have to thank the Trekkies. oh.. joy .. I smell giggles. I wonder what they would do if a girl talked to them?

LMAO! Sadly, I think that's why they resort to writing fanfic.
