LOL Nick...I feel the same way...if I were to ever write...I don't know if I'd ever be able to let anyone read it...I'm too worried it would completely blow! LOL
Oh well...Ill stick to being the reader instead of the writer.

LOL! I love writing! But, I've only finished one fic in my two years of trying! And it was by the seat of my pants, so it wasn't very good! I usually try to stick to reading until summer vacation when I have time to write.

I JUST NOW read footprints! LOL! I didn't have time at first and then I forgot. So... I printed it out last night and read it (when I should have been sleeping, lol).
Anywho, I liked it! I liked that I finally got to see things from Claire's point of view and I thought it was very well written! Good job, Julie!

The stories I pretty much read as of right now are V's story and BMS. As of a few weeks ago 00Carter. Those three. I've pretty much read everything else. But there's links on top of links that I probably haven't even came across yet.

I updated Footprints with a new part. I'm trying to go in chronological order for right now, but I'll probably go back and add in other parts too... like Casey... I'll write a Casey part that will go in between the first part and the one I just posted. But I didn't feel like writing Casey yet, so I wrote Jamie instead. Lucky you guys. He's an important part of the back story though, so I tried to cram him into one big part. It's probably too rambly in some places and not detailed enough in others, but I can't stomach writing too much sappy stuff about Claire and Jamie, so I did as much as I could handle. LOL Anyway, hope you like! accidentalchaos.net/viewstory.php?sid=8463

Maybe I should've waited until I wasn't sick anymore to read that one. The nausea thing? Not fun. Damn Jamie.
On a lighter note, you did very well with it. The Snow White references were kinda cool. I can't tell you how many times I've been stuck watching that movie with the baby. Hahahaha. And the two liter analogy was cool. Kinda reminds me of myself. Keep everything locked up for as long as possible and then after being shaken up over and over again and that cap finally twists just enough...BOOM. Very good job, though, I can't wait for the next installment.

I just read all three chapters and it's simply amazing. I loved how you put Claire's character more into life, before and after cancer. And at some points, I found myself nodding to the things she said!! You totally made me believe that she's actually a real person Julie!!! Loved it!!! I especially loved the parts where you connected the mirror in her vanity with every phase in her life. I could easily picture the roses reflecting on the mirror, alongside Claire's face. Can't wait to read more!!!

Glad you liked the Snow White references - I love Disney movies LOL. And as for the 2-liter, I'm kind of like that too - I don't like to talk about stuff, so I keep it in, but I don't really burst, I just break down and cry at some point.

Can't wait to read more!!! Thanks!!! Once I get going on this story, it's surprisingly easy to write. I wasn't sure it would be, but it's a nice release for my rambly side, cause I'm not out to write a quality story necessarily, just to TELL the story. I'm probably putting a lot of myself into Claire, especially here cause I'm writing it first person, so I'm sure that helps.

^Yeah I believe it really helps. And the thing is, although Broken and BMS has a lot of chapters, sometimes during a story it feels like you should tell more about the people's backgrounds but yet it doesn't quite fit the story all too well, so you skip it. I think you are doing a wonderful job with the Footprints. The characters are becoming more realistic and i just feel like I wanna know every single tiny bit detail about them! Call me obsessed! On the other note, one other part that I liked was the way Claire was living befoe everything happened. You pictured her just like the rest of us, college students!!!

Exactly. Broken and BMS are long enough as it is; if I went off on rambly tangents about everything I had in my head, they'd never end LOL. I know some people don't really care about reading about Claire anyway; they just want to read about Nick. So this way, they have a choice. Anyway, I'm really glad you like it so much!!! It's fun to write; I can relate to her more in this one cause she's closer to my age.

Anywho, I printed out the third one last and read it in bed! (as usual...). And I thought it was really good!!! Umm... *trying to remember* Oh! I thought Jamie and Claire broke up AFTER she got cancer...? Isn't that what you said in BMS? I dunno... anyways, I thought it was really good though!

No, they broke up before college, then they were friends again, then he got weird around her when she got cancer. It's told that way a few times in Broken/BMS, but it's so freaking long, I wouldn't expect you to remember all the little details like that LOL.
I'm glad you liked it! ;D
