I know that Brian was relearning everything, eating, talking, walking. He had a magnetic board with letters to talk. Of course it was all Nick and Brian being worried about eachother. If I think of more I will let you know.

I believe someone will find it one day, when no one is even trying to look for it. Did you try Backstreet.net? That site sucks now, but it has TONS of old fan fic links. The majority of them are broken, but some of them still work.

The majority of them are broken, but some of them still work. The thing is, unless someone hosted it on their site (without permission?), it's been taken down. Jenna co-wrote it, and her co-author changed the password to their site they had together and took down all the stories. But if someone had posted it on their own webspace without our knowledge or has it saved on their computer, we just need to find it. I'm sure there has to be SOMEONE out there who has it saved. I had all of the parts until my computer crashed, and then I lost them, and by then, they were offline.

That sucks, isn't this the only story that has ever been this hard to locate?

For me it is. For a story so popular, it's really weird that no one has it.

I know, I'm going to go look and see if I can find it. What's it about exactly? I went to read it, and found out that one part was missing, so I didn't even give it a chance. I knew if I did; I'd only get aggervated.

The premise that starts it all is that Nick has this online friend, Lizz, who he's been chatting with, and he gets really depressed while on tour and takes a bunch of pills while he's talking to her online, and when he tells her he's going to, she says "You go, I go" and threatens to overdose on her meds if he takes the pills. He's already taken them, and so... she does too. Which is insane and irrational, but that's what has to happen for the rest of the story to go down, and it's so awesomely dramatic that it works for the story anyway. That's how it starts... the rest of the series is just a rollercoaster of drama LOL. Good, angsty, suspenseful, intense drama... my favorite! It's sooo addicting, which is why it freaking sucks that some of the parts are missing.

Yeah my mind is a complete blank on the Lost Innocence story. I don't even remember the magnetic board! This would almost be a scavenger hunt to find the missing parts of the story....I did get the passwords for the webshell only to find that that too had been erased so there is nothing to even hook up.....
Like you said, it will turn up when we least expect it....miracles do happen!

I've been looking online again. I just tried to email Auctor, and her email addy doesn't work anymore; it got sent back to me. Damn. I can't find any other contact info for her; otherwise, I would try to see if she still has the parts saved. Convincing her to give them to me if she does would be another obstacle, but alas, I can't even find her.

Why post stories if you take them down? That is so stupid!

I only found one person that had the WHOLE series but her file had been corrupt so it wouldn't work when she opened it. Lost Innocence was a good story in the series too.... Did she get rid of the file or does she still have it? I have had issues when some of my stories would become corrupt when I used to save them on Floppy's or on my other computer. But if I opened them in different applications or on another computer they would work. If either of you still have it PM, maybe I or another person I know can fix the corrupt file.

^ That's a good idea... have her send it to someone else and see if it will work for them.
