I enjoyed the way you started this out. Your descriptions are great and I love how you realistically brought Nick back to his old habits. I had to LOL at AJ being divorced, but the thought of him having twin girls made me smile. I'm going to try one chapter a day until I catch up. Nicely done, looking forward to being all emotional and distraught. lol How often do you hear that? Thank you Mare! Lets face it, I love AJ, but I can't see a marriage sticking with him LOL. Kinda hoping I'm wrong there. As for Nick, I appreciate it. With as together as he seems to be these days, I hoped bringing him back to where he was before, came off realistically cause I needed him to be in that place.

Chapter 6 Review: Okay, I seriously loved this chapter! It was sad to hear Nick's take on his family and how they don't deserve to know his recent condition. I love how you've penned AJ in this story, it's really beautiful. I can just picture the man with twin girls, especially in opposite dresses that are black and pink with skulls, lmao. I swear, that man's gonna make a great father. Anywho, my heart dropped for Nick as he began to think of his time limit and how he wants to change things, make things count, and then how you had one of AJ's daughter make an appearance; that scene was indeed powerful, very emotional. Gosh damnit Rose! Lol. When AC comes back up, I'm copying these reviews and pasting them there, lol. Chapter 7 Review: "Oh fuck me sideways!" That's a line I've always used and will continue to use, lmao. Love it. I felt oh-so bad with the beginning of your chapter, with Nick not being able to find his wallet and growing frustrated. I think we can all sympathize with that feeling, drives us up the wall, but just not to the extent of Nick's. But man, the things he has to do just to make sure he won't forget, so sad. AND SCREW YOU AGAIN FOR MAKING ME SOOO EMO!! Lol. As I was reading the part with Kevin and Nick, I heard Michael Jackson's "You Are Not Alone" playing outside and even more so I was like, "Ahh *tears* what the fuck?!?" Lmao. My gosh, yet another powerful chapter. Ch. 6: I was thinking about Nick, his family, and seriously wondered myself if they deserved to know. They do, by default. But at the same time, I wondered if they did in Nick's eyes. Thank you Reb. And of course AJ would dress them all emo lmao, it's AJ. Ch. 7: LMAO I love that line, and it felt Nickish. I felt the need to go back to how even small problems will be frustrating, cause seriously, everyone's lost their wallet. But Nick's perception's skewed now. LMAO I'm sorry I made you so emo, originbally the Kevin scene wasn't going to happen yet. My muse said otherwise though. Thank you so much.

*sings* Oh my God, I'm back again... I enjoy reading first thing in the morning so that's when you're going to get my random reviews lol Chapter 2 I love how you differentiate here between a fan and a groupie and that the girl he was with was most likely a fan. Little details like that are what makes things realistic without going way overboard. He doesn't have to jump up on a table and kick someone's head in to have us all see he's out of control, you keep it simple and that says a lot. Also once again I love how in your future they become relevant again and all the crappy music goes away. Can I live in your future please? lol

I figure he'd feel guiltier about using a fan than anything else. And I agree, I wanted to show it in little ways, rather than going for big. LOL you can live in my future if I can live there with you. Cause if I can't have it that way in reality, than dammit I'm making it that way in my world LOL.

chapter 3 & 4
I love the anxiety you expressed when Nick forgot the words to the song. I have been there and it's a horrifying feeling! In fact, you are making me paranoid thinking I have whatever it is he has! I forget things all the time AND leave my stuff in weird places and don't remember doing so. That being said, I'm glad you had him going to the doctor this early in the fic and stayed away from putting it off. That's always been one of my biggest pet peeves in medical dramas. I am once again loving the anxiety while he's at the doctor's office. You write an anxious Nick very well!
Kevin in Rent, I like that idea. I also like the name Phoenix for their album Rose lol
I have to admit one of the reasons I didn't start reading this fic until now is because I was afraid you were going to go the whole Nick partied too hard and now his heart is giving out route like so many people tend to want to do when someone get's diagnosed with something. So, once again I'm going to say something really weird "Yay Alzheimer's!" <-- that is the worst disease ever in my book anyway.

Cause seriously, that's never happened on a public appearance as far as I know in the fandom. So that's a huge deal. And oh no! I don't want you thinking you have that! lol. You know, I debated on how I was going to diagnose him, and talked to Julie cause I wanted to have it happen early. Cause I felt too much fluff to put it off was useless lol, so thank you. And thanks about anxious Nick! I live in his head sometimes, scary place lmao. LMAO@ Yay Alzheimers! I'm glad you liked that. I was actually really really nervous about the readers finding out. But the reason why I decided to do this was cause alzheimer's in BSB fanfic isn't done. . And I agree, that's the worst, cause you lose yourself. Thank you for all the feedback Mare, seriously.

As much as I love medical drama and angst, this is a nice alternative and, in a way, a lot more angsty... losing his mind instead of, you know, limbs and other body parts LOL. And you're right; it's not something that's really been done in fanfic.
Mare, I'm surprised I haven't seen any stories like what you mentioned ("the whole Nick partied too hard and now his heart is giving out") yet. I wouldn't want to read that either. Again, I like my medical drama, but I only like it as fiction - that would hit too close to home right now. I'll stick the random diseases - things that could happen, but most likely won't LOL.

^ I'm kind of surprised about that too although if they are, I guess I wouldn't know. lol unless it wasn't written as a Nick and a chick fic.

I couldn't write about Nick having heart issues. Same with Brian really even though Brian's okay now. It's too close to reality for comfort. While I keep a lot of reality in stuff like this, I still want it in the realm of "not likely to happen" to make me feel better LOL.
Also, a lot of psychology is involved...and ya know...write what ya know? lol

Yup, I agree. I know I couldn't do it either. I can't even kill them for goodness sakes! and sometimes I really want to! lol

I'm bumping up this now ancient thread, just cause I'm curious if anyone from here is reading RMTW. If not it's cool, I still wanna keep updating it on both AC and DS, but I'm just wondering.

It's okay lol. I'm just curious cause I have no way of being able to tell here, unlike AC lol. So I thought I'd ask on here, since I was poking around some threads.

If it helps any, Rose, I don't get feedback by email anymore hardly ever. It's all through AC reviews or the few comments on here or my Yahoo Group. I don't know how many people read the hosted stories, but I bet it's more than it would seem like based on feedback. People just get lazy about that, especially when it's not as simple as just leaving a review at the bottom of the page like you can on AC.
