My favorite characters, aside from the trio of course, are Dumbledore and Sirius. My favorite villain, besides Voldie, is Umbridge because she is so delightfully twisted. LOL. I HATE Umbridge. I just wanna slap her. She might be one of my least favorite charactors besides Ballatrix Lestrange. Wow, I hate that charactor(Bellatrix), lol, with a burning passion. (well, as much as you can hate a charactor from a book series

I know, Umbridge is the most awful, obnoxious character, but that's what I love about her. There's just something so delightfuly twisted about how she loves to wear pink and has those kitten plates on her walls and everything, yet she's so EVIL! The juxtaposition is amazing LOL.
Bellatrix I didn't fully appreciate until the fifth movie came out, but Helena Bonham Carter did such an amazing portrayal of her that that, combined with her in the books, made her one of my favorite Death Eaters too.

I loved it, i kept starting and then stopping for various reasons and forgetting the beginning so i'd restart...i forced myself to read the whole thing this weekend, stayed up until 3am on saturday because i wanted to finish lol I think it wrapped up really nicely, but i'd like to re-read all 7 books and i think i'll like it even more then, it's been so long since i read book 6 i'm sure theres stuff i missed because of that.

Yeah, I just read books 6 and 7 back to back this summer, and it does make it even better. There are so many little things in Deathly Hallows that tie back to things in other books, even as far back as the first book, so reading them all again would be a great idea. I want to do that too. I read through the whole series before the seventh book came out, but I haven't gone back to the beginning since.

I'm such a dork, cause like you Julie, I read the 6th and the 7th over the summer again, but now I'm re-reading them all again. Mostly because I havn't read the first 4 in the longest time, and COS and GOF I've only ever read once.

Since I feel so out of the loop with the Twighlight talk, I'll ask a HP question cause it's kinda bugging me.
Did anyone else imagine Lavender Brown with dark hair and such, almost completely oppite to the actress who was cast as her??

Actually, I always pictured Lavender with kind of honey-colored/light brown hair... so the casting choice fits my image of her pretty well: images.google.com/images?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=HPIA,HPIA:2006-23,HPIA:en&q=Jessie+Cave&um=1&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title But she's never really described much in the physical sense in the books, so there's really no right or wrong choice for her there. It's interesting how we all picture characters like that in a different way.

Yeah, I know. I don't know why I pictured her like that, it's just whenever I read about her this dark featured girl with lightish skin and probably brown eyes popped in my head snogging (as they put it) Ron.

My mom wants to murder Umbridge herself to this very day. That was my least favorite character in all the books without a doubt.
