Ahh, I remember the release of the 7th book. Fun, Fun! My aunt and I waited for hours and then she wouldn't let me read in the car cause then I would know what's going on first.... aww.. I want the movie to come out already.

^ If I were that guy, I would back the hell off. Why, as such a big fan of Harry Potter, would he pursue with this book of his, knowing he's pissing JK Rowling off enough to SUE him?! I don't understand that. It's her world; let her write the lexicon!! Even if he does somehow manage to get this published, a lot of fans won't buy it because they know how against it JKR is.

So I finished Deathly Hallows the other night, and I'm already re-reading the Battle of Hogwarts on. It's just so good!!!
So for you guys, what is the most heartwrenching, tearjerking part of the series for you? For me, it's Chapter 34 of DH, "The Forest Again"... when Harry is basically walking to his own death. This is at least the fourth time I've read that chapter (after I finished the book for the first time, that was the part I had to go back and read again right away), and I still sobbed reading it. That chapter makes me cry worse than Titanic does LOL. It's so poignant and powerful and sad. Harry is love.

I agree with Chapter 34. It's so sad, i cry like a baby. My heart just flutters (kinda) when Ron and Hermione kiss, it's so cute how it happens!
When Dumbledore and Sirius die, those are very sad. Up until I finished the DH when it came out, I was still in denial that he was dead, lol. I just wouldn't accept it.
After re-reading DH for the 3rd time, lol, It's really sad when Snape dies. I always thought Snape was a good guy, cause JK makes you trust Dumbledore like Harry does, and I knew Dumbledore had to have SOME reason to trust him. Also, I just think it's cute in the epilogue, when Harry's son doesn't want to be in Slytherin and Harry is like, "Albus Severus, you were named after two headmasters. One was in Slytherin and he was the bravest man I knew" (or however that line went)
I want to kill Voldemort more when he has Hagrid bring Harry back to the castle and tried to say that Harry ran and tried to beg to live.
Well, That's mostly all for DH but that's the one that's fresh in my memory cause I just finished it.

I'd rather have it from HER than anyone! If she doesn't write it, I wouldn't buy it anyway. There would be no point as far as I'm concerned.

He's just so different... most characters you either love or you hate, but Snape is so in between. He's an asshole, and yet, you can't hate him because you just feel sorry for him. I never believed he was truly a Death Eater; I always knew there was something more to him killing Dumbledore, because I just knew JK Rowling wouldn't do that to his character. I absolutely LOVE the back story she came up with for him; it's so tragic. He's almost a tragic hero.

He is, I agree Julie. You don't like Snape, but you can't hate him. The whole back story was really sad, and because you know Snape's backstory when you go to re-read the book, it just makes you sad when he dies.

I know; I'm pissed!!! Why didn't they decide this earlier in the year at least, before there were trailers out, and Entertainment Weekly doing a fall movie preview with it in there and all this stuff... it's like rubbing salt in the wounds now. Seriously, what is the big difference between releasing it during the holiday season and summer? Both are great times for movies, and you know it will be a huge money-maker for them no matter when it comes out. It's just retarded.
